On this page I'll include a list of links to other web sites that I enjoy. I may also include an explanation of what
I like about the site.
For example, here are links to sites that I look at frequently. The first one is a
brief world-wide coverage of Catholic news. The second is about Matthew Shepard, who was the victim of a homophobic hate crime
killing in Wyoming USA, on October 12th 1998. The third is a link to the Stonewall Society, formed to oppose discrimination
against gay people. The fourth is a link to the website of the late and much lamented actor, Sal Mineo, of whom I've been
a fan for years, since seeing him in the film "Rebel Without a Cause". The fifth link is for the Lesbian and Gay Christian
Movement, an ecumenical movement based in the UK and working for an inclusive rather than exclusive church. Then we have a
link to "The National Catholic Reporter", an American publication that is very forward-looking and progressive. The following
link is to "Catholic Nexus", a very wide-ranging world coverage of Catholic news events. Then we have a link to the site of
"Partenia", the diocese given to Bishop Jacques Gaillot when he wsa removed from his French diocese. This site has an excellent
discussion forum. The next link, "The Dockmaster", takes you to a site with some wonderful desktop themes, and is followed
by a link to another site
with some very nice desktop themes, called "Theme Sisters".

The site to which this link connects
is self-evident from the link itself.

This link is to the site of the Taize
ecumenical community in France.

Here's a link to the site of the Religious Order I belong to,
and following that a link to St Francis, the church where
I am stationed at present, and where I've probably spent
most of my time since joining the Order. Then follows a
link to a site about St Peter Julian Eymard, Founder of
our Order. The link graphic is a photo of Rodin, when
a novice with the Order, working on a bust of St Peter
Julian.

This is a link to a site devoted to Pope John Paul I,

whose reign began with such great hopes.

maternal grandmother's family name of Trembath.

I've said I read a lot. One author I read years back,
only to have my interest rekindled when films were
made of his books, is JRR Tolkien. This is a link to
a site about the books and the films. Then we have a
link to a site about Frank Herbert and his Dune series.
Following is a link to a site about "Elric of Melnibone",
the hero of a series of engrossing fantasy novels by
Michael Moorcock. Then there is a link to "Dragonmount",
a site about Robert Jordan's stunning saga [up to Volume
10, now] "The Wheel of Time". Next is a link to "Seven
Spokes", a site on the chronology of "The Wheel of Time".
Then we have a link to a site for fans of George RR Martin,
author of a brilliant fantasy series called "A Song of Ice
and Fire". A link follows to a site devoted to Katherine
Kurtz and her Deryni series of books. The following link
is to the "Crescent Blues" site, from whence a further
link leads to Janny Wurtz's site. She is the author of a
series called "The Wars of Light and Shadow".

The following two graphic links are to sites about
Napoleon, one of my passionate interests.

Here is a link to a site about science fiction films,
and you know I'm nuts about science fiction.

Here is a link to another
science fiction site.

This link is to a site that concerns itself not only
with Science Fiction, but also with Fantasy.

This link is to a totally Fantasy site.

Here are the links to some friends' sites. The first one, known as "Ninglun", is a teacher at a boys' high
school in Sydney, and in addition to his routine teaching, has a lot to do with teaching and inculcating attitudes of anti-discrimination.
The second, "Sal", contributes a lot of material to a group called "The Gay Catholic Clubhouse", and is a great guy. In fact,
they are both great guys!
The next link is to the site of Michael Coyne, an internationally known photographer, who,as I
tell him, I've known for so many years that I knew him before he was famous. The link "Present Australia" belongs to
a couple of long-time friends, Mike Clohesy and Oliver Scofield, who set up this busines called "Present Australia", that
handles everything for people wanting to visit Australia. The next link is to a site called "Woodchips", set up by our
Fr Wood's brother and nephew, to be about the Wood family. In the graphic, Fr Wood is the tall guy second from the right at
the back. He is 81, and his mother, seated in front, is 103!
